Trying to find the correct word for "book title" is always a challenge in any language.
Maltese also seems to have the word "awtriċi" meaning "authoress" (?) specifically.
There are in fact a number of famous women on the list.
It's your call. Which headings would be best?

With The Stranger by Camus (L'Etranger), it's famous and it's short, so normally it's easy to get that title.
Since it leads off the book list, I have now written to the publisher in Paris, Gallimard, asking for a complete list of translations so I will always have a correct official title for Book 1.

I was scouting Maltese 2 years ago and I have been working on this page for at least a month.

This PC is a piece of shit. It barely runs. My laptop caught a virus from an enwiki link! And I haven't had a chance to repair it. On this PC I can sometimes run YouTube and WP at the same time. Sometimes. But usually that's too much for it to handle.

My page does use very consistent formatting. Title rows and author rows are distinct. So if you like to use an editor with regular expression support, for example, you can split columns to your heart's content.

2 translations for 400,000, that's great to be part of a literate culture. More power to Malta. Malta has been a to-do of mine for years. I haven't been to Sicily either so I would visit those together.

Armenia, I learned today, has had 0 translations of L'Etranger.

I will be using your column headings.

I will not be adding "Il-Barrani" myself since I am not a native speaker and I don't know its sourcing.

All the information I compile is internal to Wikipedia; any other information should be cited, either here, or preferably on the book's own page. (That would be best, improving the book pages.)

Amers: In French, that is the plural of amer, so I assume the title means Bitter Things. But I have not so far found a copy of the book in French to confirm my impression.

I wrote you a message a few days ago, but this computer died without the posting going through.

It was about enlisting a labour force, but you've now done all the labour.

My idea was to create a few stub articles. Most WP projects have a Lord of the Rings page now, for example. I read that book in 1975, I think, when it was still a cult phenomenon, but nowadays everyone knows it.

So I would have a few 2-sentence stubs, and the stubs would link back to Il-100 ktieb.

And that is how you generate some labourers to make other stub articles in Maltese.

Just a suggestion.

Some of the author's book choices are very esoteric (like Gurdjieff) but the majority are exactly the sort of book that a reader wants to look up in an encyclopedia. The sort of book that will probably have a Britannica article.

Four of the books you already worked on in the Le Monde list.

I am doing 8 or 10 of the bigger European languages + Esperanto.

I have not looked at Maltese specifically, but if you feel inclined and have the time ...

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedija. Names of places are always a problem. Our policy (and the policy recommended on Wikipedia generally) is to use the original name when there is no Maltese name and not to create Maltese names e.g. Bavarja is well known though before it was called Baviera. Munich is a difficult one as there is no Maltese name for it most people use the English name Munich. I recommend that we use the German names unless there is an obvious Maltese name.

Credo che dovremmo cancellare tutte le voci per le quali le informazioni che contengono possono essere riportati nella tabella. Attualmente questo significa tutti loro, tranne il maltese. Naturalmente, questo non si ferma nessuno di far rivivere queste voci e svilupparle più tardi.

La ragione è che la wikipedia Maltese ha già un numero sproporzionato di abbozzi e vorremmo mantenere il numero di nuovi abbozzi al minimo. Spero che capisca il nostro problema.

anzi qualcosa da migliorare c'è: potresti aggiornare nelle voci delle lingue dei segni che ci sono delle leggi a riguardo??

ad esempio nella Lingwa tas-Sinjali tan-Newzealand c'è questa legge che però non so che scrivere la frase in maltese, quindi visto che ci sei puoi farlo gentilmente??

anche per LS Danimarka, LS Zimbabwe, LS Kenya, LS Brazil, LS Chile, LS Finlandja, LS Izlandja..
