Deutsch: Die Ratsstube als Arbeitsraum des Rates ist mit Schreibtischen und Aktenregalen ausgestattet. An den Wänden hängen die Fürstenporträts, die seit 1909 wieder im Festsaal ihren Platz haben. Rechts neben der Tür steht der gusseiserne Ofen, dessen klassizistischer Kachelaufsatz am Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts einem nach alten Modeln hergestellten weichen musste. Links neben der Tür ist die Roentgen-Uhr an ihrem ursprünglichen Platz zu sehen. Ihr Geheimnis – ein unter ihrem Sockel verborgener Zugang zur Schatzkammer – wurde erst beim Umbau wiederentdeckt. Die geöffnete Tür erlaubt einen Blick in die Syndikusstube. Auf dem Tisch vorn ist die Eidbibel zu erkennen. An dem runden Tisch im Hintergrund sitzen der Leipziger Kunstmäzen und Unternehmer Carl Lampe (1804–1889) und Bürgermeister Otto Koch (1810–1876).
